can't fill cars from water bottle?
so I've siphoned gasoline into an empty water bottle, but cannot add it back to any car?
it's my understanding you can do this, am I wrong? why would you be able to siphon, but not fuel from.. I've tried holding to bottle, using the V menu, using the right click menu, checking gas tank condition etc... and yes, the tank is empty...

First outstanding question is MODS?
If yes, test them ALL.
did you use wine bottle or bourbon bottle as an container? they seem to be there to only make molotovs with them

You should be able to just spam right click around the body of your car until the popup appears. I can fill my car using plastic water bottles with no issues.

I know this thread is old but...
I'm having the same issue and I have dozens of mods installed. Getting rid of one and then the next would take forever. Do you know of any mods that may cause this issue?

nope, dude. it is your responsibility to troubleshoot the mods you chose.

I can say, good luck! and I hope you sort it out, one mod at a time.

Test them all is my best offer of help.

Start with mods that affect vehicle. Remove them until you have nothing but vanilla cars and vanilla mechanic.
If that doesn't change anything, move to other mods that change vanilla behaviors, like cooking/farming/crafting mods.

Welcome to modding

I have a list of over 100+ mods and 2/3rds of my time is bug testing

Hi I had mods, I did what the other guy suggested and looked at mods which affected vehicles and was able to isolate it pretty quickly. Don't ask me what one now no idea not played in ages

I found out that it was the "let me think" mod that allows you to right click and queue up tasks while the game is paused

Thank you! Had the same issue in several saves and would never in my life consider this mod!

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
