In that file, edit the fullscreen=true line to fullscreen=false
Then try launching the game again.
Or:
It turns out something is De-Syncing on Mac for Zomboid. Not sure what or how, I don’t know this stuff very well. But it looks like the screen is set to where when it loads, it loads you zoomed into the bottom left of the screen. I’m trying the full screen fix right now. Enabling the locked cursor setting helps sync the mouse, however your unable to reach the screen options such as full screen due to the zooming-in. Hopefully a Dev sees this and we get a fix
Can confirm, the Fullscreen=False fixes this. I found nothing else that worked. Like I said, pretty sure something’s up with how it does fullscreen on Mac. Not sure if that’ll be any help for y’all, but hopefully a dev sees this and can patch
thanks please get back to me
Go to your finder and type in zomboid in the search bar and then double click the zomboid folder. You’ll find the option file in there to change the full screen to false
Is that the only issue that lacks compatibility with M1 MacBooks, just asking from your experience assuming you have a MacBook. Because I wanna get this game for my girlfriend, but I don’t wanna get it if the game is plagued with issues with it not being supported with PZ.
