As for the shooting and leveling it just sucks by default like most activities. One thing you CAN do is use shotguns, as they are much easier to use and level effectively since they hit can hit groups of zombies at once. You might be able to turn on a highlight settings in the options menu for ranged combat. but now that i think about it, it might be from a mod.
Whereas, 0 strength is basically dead person, 5 strength is an average and 10 is very strong individual.
Same for firearms, where 0 has no idea how to hold a gun and how to point it. That's stupid. I'd like to have some book in the game like with generators that explains your character how to become at least something with it.
To level up guns just push down a zombie, stand on it and shoot him.
after lvl 4 i believe the amount of xp gained is significantly reduced, making it even more annoying to level.
"Hmm we could focus on NPCs but there are people out there levelling tailoring in mere days real time when it ought to be weeks real time. Guess NPCs will have to wait."
Now you click rip all, and it's working only for the same container (at least for me, but my game is heavy modded), so you don't rip accidentally that nice leather jacket in your backpack.
I second this. Start off at L0 with a sawed off, and grind out your first 3 levels with that. Its going to attract attention, so keep an eye on your ammo reserves, and be ready to bail out when the main horde shows.
