A question regarding annotated maps.
So I was wondering how exactly annotated maps work. Do all of the locations, or some of them, marked on annotated maps always show up in every playthrough? So if I get an annotated map on Save file 1, and it shows a house that has extra goodies in it or a bit of lore/story, is that also true on save file 2 even if I haven't found that specific map yet?

Does finding an annotated map change that building if the cell hasn't been loaded yet? I had assumed all buildings and their chance of spawning as a "special spawn" were decided on world generation... but I have noticed a LOT of cross over on annotated maps between multiple save files, with the exact same buildings being marked off.

I'm curious if anyone actually knows the answer to this.

I have only gone to look for one annotated location. I found this heart-breaking note on a Riverside map and, since it was close, went to go check. Sadly(?) no body was there. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2924238065

I think if you haven't gone close enough to load the tile its in, reading the map will change the location to reflect the map.

Annotated maps (and the story belongs to them) generated semi randomly.
Means:
Pre defined stories placed on on random locations.
If you find an AMap, it's places the story to the marked location, and loads when you visit that location (for the first time).
