Masonry from that mod is too bugged to be useable.
I'm just shared SF Building Time, bc I knew it has the masonry feature. Never tried it personally.
I guess if it ever came to official capacity, then masonry would be a similar difficulty to metalworking. Though the items would be much more common.
The mixing of the concrete would be the first challenge I guess. Requires power, for cement mixer, bucket of water bag of concrete and bag of dirt, gravel sand or ballast. Then you have a bucket of concrete(wet) that will unfreeze into a bucket of dry concrete. And so then you’ll build your brick walls. I guess the masonry skill slows the drying of concrete. So you have more time to make walls. Though it’s a team skill, so you would get the ability to erect the wall for few levels. You’d be casting concrete or sandstone bricks first. Or making concrete gnome casts. Maybe a concrete block with poles a sticking out of it like a tank barricade.
It’s like the three little pigs
Straw House - log cabin
Stick house - plastered house
Brick house - invisible
The wolf fails to blow down the brick house down but eventually comes down the chimney.
There should be a stone wall, that doesn’t need a carpenters frame. And then a brick wall needs a carpenters frame bucket of cement and bricks. Would be as encumbersome as a staircase. You gotta sort of drop the bricks where you will build and then mix the cement put water in the bucket, and transfer from the mixer to the to bucket of water and bang you are ready to verk. Would be so slow so laborious the amount of bricks in one wall segment if made realistic would make the haulage so painful that the benefit of the skill is locked behind a lot of work. And even then you need practice. Practice that could be obtained from repairing existing structural damage.
Also has compete risk of being intombed as you couldn’t deconstruct the walls without the sledge.
