how to change the reading time in sp?

I started a new game in singleplayer, and I would like it not to take so long to read each page, can it be changed in started games?

Here's a mod that allows you to change your sandbox settings mid-game, and I believe you're looking for "time per page" or something.

That said, it's not that bad with fast forward in SP!

In SP you
can set the XP multiplier up and ignore books (not mags) completely; or you can just click to read the book in a safe area and hit fast forward (though you can't do this on MP)

You can always press F4, F5, or F6 to speed up the game in single-player.
Get Fast Reader trait to make it faster.
Use Change Sandbox Options mod above to temporarily change your world to a 15 minutes day to make it even faster.

And if your issue is that you don't want your survivor to spend an entire day reading a book, just use debug mode and use the instant timed action cheat.
