I have been playing exclusively on the Steam Deck since I got mine and the controls are fine. You can use the back buttons to add zoom or door openings and the touch pad for vehicle or radio stuff. I got use to it pretty quickly.

Works fine for me. Controls are pretty fluid when navigating through the ui and transferring items. Not overlyy complex, aiming takes me a lil bit to get the hang of ,after playing on pc. Great game for it.

It works great on the Deck, just keep your mods to a minimum. Inventory management is the only thing that's really slower on controller, but it can be fast once you get used to it.

as others have said back buttons for zoom and i use left track as a radial for mods that add keyboard key functions.

Pz doesn't do steam cloud saves.

after build 42, cloud saves might be something that is possible, I wouldn't bet on it though or think it will definitely be a thing, but the possibility exists and it is on DEV radar.
