If you don't want to kill each other ever, turn off pvp totally - uncheck PVP at the top
For brother killing fun PVP:
If you want full pvp with no skull icon, uncheck SafetySytem or make sure it is set to false.
uncheck ShowSafety to not see a skull over heads.
As to the multipliers, keep them at default for now and tell your brother that you guys need to test out the settings to find a comfy spot for those.
Load in and whack each other to death. Was it good feeling? Keep it.
If you think it needs tweaking, set it higher or lower and test it out.
When you both agree that you found a delicious amount of lethal combat, stop the testing. Delete that world and then GAME ON BRO... this is the real deal. { ...now we play for life}
so have turned on PvP but have set the damage multiplicator down to 1 each ... instead of 30 and 50 ... we also have that collision detection on
but really want to know, what that setting means ... is 100 , 100 percent or 100x ?
The tooltip popup says its a multiplier, does that mean it is 30x and not 30%, I'm not a mathematician but I reckon it is X times.
I don't think at default multiplier you will one hit kill each other. I was attacked by a raging lunatic on my server once and we had a little skirmish of multiple blunt force dances before I took him down. I was 10 strength and 2 months old. He was a brand new login to kill someone for giggles.
