You paid money for this game. Don't let it be frustrating for the sake of being someone else's idea of fun.
I've recently been playing SP on a more "hardcore" style singleplayer world and my honest issue with fatigue is that its moodlet levels are pretty debilitating to the player character. Wakeful feels very necessary just so I don't get tired by 6pm in the evening when there is still a good amount of light out.
then again i play a very active zomboid with respawns and a lot of combat. may not be so bad for a more casual playthrough.
MP - Sleep required off, but allowed on (we use it to advance time if everyone agrees).
I came here from google recommending this when I looked up "project zomboid can you disable sleep in singleplayer?". So it serves another helpful purpose as well, validating for me that I'm not crazy and that there is no option to disable sleep in singleplayer.
