Blunt weapon do not damage clothes on Z, I think, but it remain blood and dirt.
After my clothes hunt I use to drop all my bag of dirty Z clothes in the washing machine, push button on and voilà.
In the laundry I have also a carton box of torn fabric and sewing materials, also a closet and wardrobe borrowed from next store full of my last fashion creation or my scavenger hunt. A laundry but in fact it's an armoury.
I change clothes almost every day and well, I can't imagine to clean each clothes one by one.
Dryer, I don't use it.
Well, uh, there's a bigger and more obvious issue with that, which is that you're burning daylight while doing it. Time you could be spending sleeping, cooking, reading, scavenging.
"All day"????? Maybe that only applies if you collect all the clothes you find on zombies and wash every one of them.
I just tested washing myself. Put on as much clothes as I could, got them bloody. (Default time settings). It literally took me 10 in-game minutes to wash my outfit, just a few seconds irl without speeding up time.
What are you guys talking about?
It's just so much easier to throw all the clothes in the washing machine and switch it on before washing your character + their weapons and going to sleep, waking up to dry clothes in the morning and fresh as a daisy.
If I was forced to wash by hand at the sink, even with soap, that'd be an AFK moment for me indeed, I'd probably go for a tea break or something and then get back just in time to see my character to finish it..
..only to become dirty and bloody less than half the day later, lol.
Tosses bloody car hood into the machine.
