I've been on a few servers now to setup my own music-radio station for folks but it doesnt seem like me or others can send anything over the radios besides text, I recall hearing others speak and use 2way radios before (few months ago), is this working for anyone else?

Well I went on several servers, only had one instance when it worked on a short range walkie talkie (was probably in the house next to me but didnt know) would love more input on this since it hasnt been discussed recently. Again, it must have worked at some point cause I was able to hear a frequency in Muldraugh from Riverside.

No. Is broken.

They released a Hotfix, which changes the getActivePlayers script. This messed up Vehicle Claiming, and Radios.

Apparently, in order to "hear" a person on the Radio you need to have "Met the Player", which is an arbitrary condition that nobody truly understands.

If you've never "Met the Player", then the Radio stays silent, according to what I've read.

Checks out. Could explain why the guy in West Point could hear me. I'll test out this "Met the Player" method ingame.
