Blood, no. The corpse, yes.

Blood splatters on the walls only impact fps/ups, and only in massive quantities.

It takes a LOT of corpses to give you corpse sickness, and if you sleep on the second floor while the corpses are on the first floor it won't give you any at all.

Can you imagine the stench though? After about a week, with a building full of rotting corpses... /retch

I always take out all corpses from my base / safehouses because it just grosses me out thinking about it (and yes, I don't want to risk my character getting sick).

Depends on if you took the fear of blood trait, really.

Fear of blood trait is not at all impacted by blood splatters on the walls, only by blood splatters on you/maybe your clothes (i'm a bit less sure about that last bit).

Tried this recently and my character is still panicked even after he washed everything on his person. I think blood splatters do affect hemophobia as well

As additional information:
Corpse Sickness starts when there are 13 or more corpses in a radius of 13 squares from you.
Its indicated by flies spawning.

Going inside/outside a room (depending where the corpses are) stops the sickness gain.
Dont know about different floors, but it'd make some sense programming wise if it would also stop it.

I rarely do unless it was a horde event and there is blood just plain everywhere. Always drag the corpses out and pile them up on the street to burn when i can though (after ive picked through their pockets for anything useful, especially keys). If it has ever made my character sick to leave it there, i genuinely havent noticed, but in all fairness the horde events that cause enough blood to maybe do so also often result in far more immediate medical problems to address anyway.

I have left blood on my walls or floors for quite a while though (not always by choice, some blood splatters seem to go slightly through the wall or something where its really hard to actually clean them) without any apparent issues from it. Pretty sure as long as you clear out the actual bodies you are fine though.
Yes you can clean it. You need bleach cleaning products and a mop or any towel

Pretty sure it's you, your clothes, and your immediate environment.

but...Fear of blood makes you anxious not panicked, that's a different moodle...

I hadn't noticed any issues myself, maybe it was just cause I basically always went upstairs to sleep/didn't hang around long enough to notice it from environmental splatters? shrug
