Carried weight randomly changes?
So, I packed up my inventory and a dufflebag (which at one point could be equipped to my back, but now can only be carried in my off hand [uh?]) to move to a new, more secure house. As I was walking, I suddenly get a HEAVY LOAD indicator (I was at 15/16 inventory and 17/18 in my dufflebag), and out of nowhere it now says 20/16 and 18/18. I haven't picked up or interacted with anything, I've only been walking. So, I stopped at the motel in the southside (thought maybe being tired also affected weight) and I slept. Everything else went away except for the HEAVY LOAD.

Upon checking the total weight by manually checking, I should have been at 20 to begin with. So, has anyone else noticed that inventory weight does not properly adjust immediately? A bit annoying since I was "at weight" for about 10 minutes when I shouldn't have been to begin with.

You could have had a weapon equipped that you de-equipped. Or if you take off the dufflebag it gets heavier. All I can guess.

Well, I did notice after resting that the duffelbag had to be requipped. However, previously I was just walking (no fiddling with gear or anything). It was basically like a "lag" in the weight count. Oh well, if it happens again I'll keep noting it in case it becomes a common issue.

Your hunger will cause your max weight to increase or decrease :)

Well, when I was SLIGHTLY FED I went from 16/16 to 17/18... but as it turned out it was because I hate "1/2" of a peanut butter jar from my dufflebag and it went back to my main inventory. A bit annoying lol. Haven't run into the original issue again so far, so all good!

okay, this is a mechanic from the game, anything you take out of your bags(duffle bag, hiking bag, school bag, etc) to use, it automatically goes to your main inventory, if you just have to return it to your bag after you eat or use it. yeah it is a bit annoying but I guess that's for realism's sake.
