I have no Problems with windows or mac os, i just dont use, dont like, them.
this before.
1.) rent a REAL server where you have root access the 2 coins more for a domain is a little afford but useful.
2.) install a linux distribution of your choice.
3.) install steamcmd
4.) install PZ
5.) play the game with your friends.
lmao what?
which segment you did not understand ? let me help you if you want,
What "segment" did YOU not understand in my OP?
I'm asking why workshop files are failing to download when I download them thru SteamCMD for my dedicated server. I OWN the server HARDWARE. I can destroy it with a hammer if I so choose, I think I have about as much access as I need.
You don't need to purchase PZ AGAIN if you want to run a dedicated server. And I wont, I already own the game. Not gonna buy it again to just run the server. I can get the server up and running now I'm just trying to understand how to get mods into it thru the workshop thru CMD.
If English isn't your first language I'm assuming that's why the translation of what you said made no sense.
huh ? so to be clear, you host a server local ? but you did not tell what OS you run, that is important to know.
nobody said that you have to purchase pz again just to setup a server, i did not said that.
So, i iam be able to help you, i have to know the OS of your server, sorry if this wasnt clear, and as you guessed right english is my second lang :)
OHHHH I'll give that a shot. All the tutorials I have found have them download thru CMD with the command I listed. I'll take a different approach.
Best example of what needs to be done.
