AFAIK you only need to disinfect and bandage the burn wound for a long time, probably a week or two, for it to heal.
I never get burned myself, and when I do, I don't survive. So I'm not sure about this.
Burns will take awhile to heal, and a hand burn is bad because it affects fighting and doing most tasks, so hopefully you are well stocked and safe while it heals.
There are a couple of methods to heal wound most people see them as useless, but I stand by a clean character washed clothes, sterilised bandage, cotton buds greatly increase and well fed is the way to go.
Soaked Cotton buds are the way to go. They are the bread and butter of medical supplies. The soaked cotton bud also has an advantage over alcohol wipes which are the lowest available form of disinfectant. Perhaps bourbon is worse, but it’s possibly better. And the disinfectant bottle is too cumbersome to lug around. And maybe wasteful used this way aswell. Never pass up the opportunity to soak a cotton bud and carry it around.
Just to clarify, Alcohol wipes are the best. They have the same disinfecting power as cotton balls soaked in alcohol, but they have multiple uses, whereas the cotton balls can only be used once.
