Coffee X-Press, any use so far?
Hi everyone :cq2happy:

I noticed by placing some coffee x-press machines I looted from some general store type container, I can set it's temperature, put a timer on, and turn it on. It even has an inventory of 65 but I can't put water or coffee in it, nor can I use a contextual menu option on it (even with water, a cup, and coffee).

Cups seems to be able to go in the inventory, so it is possible that cup-base recipes (tea and coffee) are simply heated in them?

That would be slightly disapointing as I expected (when I saw the settings, turn on and timer) that you could somehow put in a cup, add some water (even could hold a reserve) and add coffee to brew a cup. I know the result is somewhat similar, hence the slightly disappointing.

An unconventional use for coffee machines, I've discovered, is to use them as a zombie distraction. They have an unusually high HP percentage before they break. They can hold for hours. Zombies are naturally attracted to player-built constructions, so much so that they will stop in their path of hunting you in order to attack that structure. Coffee-X-press machines weigh only 4; I grab a couple and place them when being chased by a large group, and it will "distract" them temporarily while you dispatch the other zombies. You can lure them one by one by slowly approaching the machine.
