Right Click Broken?

20-30% of the time I go to click RMB in order to execute an attack and I do NOT get the correct behavior. I don't get the circle on the ground and can't swing my weapon or shove. Is that a bug? It's make it even harder because I don't know if my controls are going to behave the same way or why it sometimes works and sometimes fails.

I've checked my mouse and it's never a problem w/ other games. I found a quick way to get unstuck, LMB and then you can perform RMB+Hold to bring up the targeting cursor.

You still didn't say if you have any mods enabled though.

I am also having this problem, currently testing to see whether or not it's because I'm playing unstable. I do have mods but disabling them hasn't corrected this issue.

I also have this problem, I think since the last update. Sometimes right click works fine, sometimes I have to spam it until it decides to right click again. Nothing wrong with my mouse button. I play on a server with mods.
Edit: Also, when dismantling and picking up objects, my character will often mention: "I can't pick this up/dismantle this" even though I meet all requirements. Walking away a couple of tiles and not moving the mouse after initiating the action makes it work most of the time I run into this.

Just to check if it would be an issue with the mouse or the game, does the attack animation work correctly when you use CTRL to aim or does it only happen with RMB?

Using the keyboard instead of the mouse works! So that is something of a work around.
The fact that I can RMB and then fix the issue w/ my LMB tells me this is software and not hardware related.

That was a huge foreign mechanic to learn and overcome when I started out.

It reminded me a lot of learning finger picking style on a guitar. Lots of conscious thinking to get my fingers to do that and continual practicing until it becomes muscle memory.

Me and friends also encounter right-mouse not working reliably quite often. It seems to be a pretty common problem. Or I guess it's a mod we all use, but it's so hard to diagnose as it's not something that's easily replicable. It'll work for an entire session and then not for 20 seconds or even just 1 second and then it's fine again. Made me think my mouse was broken quite a few times before I asked friends and I realized it's really common in my circles.

(I do host a dedicated server with a handful of very common and popular mods. So we do all use pretty much the same mods online and offline. It could very well be a quite popular mod that's messing with it)

Only 1 friend has it as bad as OP though and she's a newer player that ónly plays on my server. So she has the least mods of all of us. OP, maybe we can compare a list of commonly used mods?

I have no problem aiming/holding right mouse button (although this did happen to me on a multiplayer server once), the problem is with the context menu sometimes not opening; the single click. If I right click somewhere else on the screen it usually opens up, then I can right click at the initial position again. I just tested in SP without mods and the problem persists.

I think both of these problems occurred after the recent update.
