Are there other human NPCs in the game?
i recently purchased this game without any ideas and i wonder there are any npc's/bandits ? that would be cool

No, NPCs are an upcoming feature we're working on. :)

Of course, there are multiplayer servers with Pvp and RP servers, so if you want a Zombie survival experience with people you can still get that (:

Correct me if I am wrong but a couple years ago there were NPCs in the game, such as the NPC that comes to your house with a gun in the beginning and ones that use to be just around the town and stuff. I wondered why they were removed but never questioned it.

Yeah, before we launched on Steam there were very rudimentary NPCs. They weren't fun and only able to stand there and consume your resources. They didn't create emerging stories or anything like that. In order to make them do anything remotely interesting, they had to be heavily scripted. There wasn't much "AI" in there.
They were in at a time when the map wasn't seamlessly loaded. If you approached the end of a "screen", it loaded the next bit much like in the old Zelda games. The NPC pathfinding would have had to be reworked just for that but since they weren't up to what we wanted, we took them out, as they didn't have much impact on the gameplay.
It might have been nice to have some scripted NPC story mods but that would have meant we'd have to maintain a "legacy" feature just to someday replace it with the "proper" system we've been working on over the years.

If you want a description in a sentence: They were less fun than Vanilla Minecraft's NPCs :P
