Which doesn't help at all, rifles are terrible to aim and hit.
This :)
And also, a lot of that percentage relates to your skill in aiming. So if you want to be a good shooter in an RPG like Zomboid you need to pick a profession/trait or train that skill up to be good at that stuff. The game gets much easier when you think about it in terms of RNG (kind of like the early Fallout games [1&2, a couple of my favorite games ever]) :)
That would be pretty neat and it would look something out of commandos franchise :D
and also, since weapons are such a bad idea to use in general other than a distraction, or a last resort, there ins't really much reason to "train" my aiming skill, by hunting zombies/animals with it, it just seem to dangerous....
wich is why i will make a sugestion in a upcoming thread made by me.
Haha, I agree that's the irony. Guns in this game are much better for distractions or last stands when you're really trapped. "Training" them is mostly for flavor because being a good shot doesn't do much practical good in either of those situations.
But from an RP sense it is kind of cool to make a character who's a good shot.
