Any chance you are using mods?
Well I was able to somewhat narrow it down. It does seem to be mod related in some way.
Only when i deactivate >all< mods the beeping will stop after i restart the game.
If i start it and activate >any< of my mods, it will automatically resume beeping.
As for the watch: I didnt have a watch yet on any of my characters, since I didnt play since the patch with the watches and timestamp removal.
I deleted ORGM and I still get it.
Hydrocraft (for example) triggers it aswell for me.
Man, I have no idea whats causing it

good luck, and if you need you can ask for the modders some tips with what it would conlfict with, that might help to.
