Can't Host a server
Currently I'm having a blast with the game, however I can't host a server with my buddies,
keep getting this error message:
"server has stopped during launch"

Clean install, haven't ever modded, Tried a bunch of things, from veryifing files, reinstalling even to portfowarding. It doesn't even start to initiate the server. Any ideas? couldn't even find anyone with a fix online, tried all day yesterday

Thanks, I think the issue might be perhaps due to your PC username. I would recommend testing our moving the Zomboid folder to a different location to see if that allows you to host.

Go to your Steam Library > Right click Project Zomboid > Properties > Set Launch Options > Type -cachedir=C:\Zomboid > Start the game

Can you share your logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid?
You can use any file sharing website of your choice or a temporary one like tmpsend.com for example.

Seems like there is no coop-console file in here, are you hosting the server through the "Host" menu? Since there is the "server log" which usually means you are hosting a dedicated server. So my question is which one of these are you using? The Host function or did you install a dedicated server?

I would need the whole logs.zip folder so I can check the PC specifications and any other issues. Though based on the log you sent you have some mods enabled, are you able to host the server without any mods enabled?

I tried the "Host" several times, when It didn't work I tried the dedicated version to no avail, I would rather use the non dedicated version the "host" in game, if there is any solution, I'll follow your instructions ;D

If you have issues with mods, try disabling them one by one or in batches to figure out which specific mod is causing the problems. Likely one of them is causing your server to fail in that case, the console log will not show the issue.

Same as above, can you host it without mods?
