It is a new placeholder feature to mimic something like getting in and out of cars.
I was asking if restarting the game or removing mods remove the infinite loading bar.
Are you asking how to fix a bug, because the bar is permanently visible?
Or are you asking if removing some mod will remove a vanilla feature?
Closing the door is another action and when players interrupt it zombies can get to them while there's no visible hint that the door is still open.
It's a tempoary thing until they implement animated car doors.
edit:
Not sure how well it can be implemented but maybe they could only show the bar in this specific situation.
Make a suggestion if it bothers you that much.
My guess is they did not go in and attach it to other actions at all.
It seems like they added it ad hoc after people were animation cancelling the door closing (that has no animation visual yet) It wasn't added to the door animation, but perhaps tacked on to all animations higher up in the code, which is used for all animation ques.
an unfortunate side effect.
I too, do not need to see the animation bar, even for doors. An option to hide it would be nice. But I can live with it for now.
I imagine the hardcore roleplayers are somewhat immersion broken by now.
Because it's a base game thing now. Reloading the game or a mod does not help? OP is talking about the bar over the head
Its just a placeholder , there was a LOT of threads regarding being bitten through windows. It says in the patchnotes what the purpose is if you want more details. Again just temp thingier i beee leaf
I use a few mods, and this is can sometimes happen to me when I am loading in a new area. I don't know how the game manages the map itself as far as loading it into memory but it seems when I'm walking into an area which is either new or an area I haven't been to in a while I get that loading bar.
It does disappear after a bit, and you are right, it can be annoying but that is the life of using mods. I haven't played a real vanilla game in a very long time since mods give more quality of life options in the game play.
Not much you can do about it if you are using mods I'm afraid.
I know what you are asking for though. A command to disable debugging (I don't know if that is what it's part of) entirely. If there is a way the dev will know, and pass it along.
Has the game car doors zombies can seem to bite through they get annoyed posts.
Do they implement a placeholder visual cue to to prevent this in the mean time they get annoyed posts.
And if they implement a solution for that as well they get an ugly workaround in code base which is liable to be forgotten until it causes issues.
