The in-game minimap is gone
I tried verifying file integrity, disabling all mods. The in-game minimap cannot be opened.
Please how to solve this problem.

I disabled all mods. And turn on the minimap option in the sandbox settings.

Large map can be opened. I'm talking about the minimap. Small map in the corner of the screen.

Oh it should be still available? I thought it was removed in one of the updates as it just suddenly disappeared on its own for me ages ago.

Right, but if if you hold the M key down you get a radial menu and can select the mini map again...unless you mean that's what isn't working for you!?

Mmm. ..no? (As in not sure) I did not have that minimap. If i press M i get the big map and that is it.
When the minimap disappeared for me, for a while it was present on the big map, then it disappeared from there too.
Allthough i have to confess, i just accepted it, since during my plays there was no map available beside the ones you found or the online one. And before i switched over to harsher settings i built up quite a good/decent map knowledge. (I started back in version 39? or 40. And i started in WP. I learned slowly my stuff, actually not even knowing about the online map that time, i accidentally ran into the three houses place. Well i thought logical, i had to run, and i found the gravel road i figured it eventually have to lead someplace:) And it did. I gained a lot of experience after finding a suitable base to "rest". Thereafter i checked the other starting points and eventually learned about the online map. But after i stopped playing apocalypse i do not use the online map while gaming. But outside i sometimes check stuff on it, like what new stuff is added, to check if there are certain kind of buildings or fences etc. And i memorize them.)

Go to C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid\Lua on your PC.
Open the layout.ini file
Edit the Minimap line and set visible=false to visible=true
Save and try loading the game again?
If that fails, try deleting the file instead.
