Beginner Tip - Toggle Aim Mode
Just a little tip for those who don't know it

In the Keyboard Bindings tab of the options is the option:

"Toggle LCONTROL key to Aim"

(LCONTROL will be whatever key is set for Aim in the menu)

This is disabled by default. But if you enable it, it does exactly what it says. If you press the key, your character will stay in Aim mode until you press it again - exactly as if you where holding the right mouse button

Is very useful if you do a lot of bashing of doors, since holding both the buttons down for that long can strain the hand (and other body parts since they are all connected, as well as being affected by sitting position and desk height etc)

Can also be useful in combat for the same reason, as well as being one less button to think about

also it will auto cancel aim mode if you use shift to start to jog - which it won't do if you are holding the right mouse button to aim (or LCONTROL if you are not using the toggle)

it's also an option that you can keep enabled and it will only be used if you want it (since the LCONTROL key is only used for that purpose)

just another nice little feature i wanted to share with those who don't know it yet

still more to follow i am sure :-)
(lots of useful little things hidden away in the options)

can also be augmented with this mod:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2837527039
which the awesome author made after i asked about how to do it in the comments for one of their other awesome mods:

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2591232239
which will get its own post, when i do a tip for the vanilla "Move To" feature

do check their workshop out - some really awesome QoL stuff :-)

and since this is a beginner's series - QoL stands for Quality of Life for those who aren't familiar with the term - mods that enhance the game to make it feel nicer to play, more comfortable, "smoother" as this mod author says in their series of mods to automate some of the actions that we do a lot but are not taxing, or requiring of much thought - and so it is not reducing the challenge to automate them, just the time spent on mundane things, so that we can concentrate on the fun :-)
