Generator Condition
Is there an option to toggle off the durability drop for generators? I am doing some long ass runs in the game. I dont want to see my house burned to the ground lol.

you can always repair them
and if you far away (outside of mapcell)
it deactivates or really slows down.
i had a game where i was away months from my first base,
came home and generator still ruinning top condition.

Ahh I didn't know that. Then there is no problem to leave my generator running, thanks for the tip.
But I am still curious if there is an option or not. I searched almost all of the game/setting files and couldn't find it.

IIRC, generator condition is linked to how much fuel it uses. If you lower the fuel consumption value in the sandbox settings, it should extend the condition of the generator.

So long as you repair your generator each time you refuel it, the condition should never drop below 80% or so. Then, even if you forget to turn your generator off when leaving your base for an extended period of time, once the gas runs out, the generator will automatically shut down. No fire risk. Just make it a habit to always repair when you refuel.
