After updating my Driver from 22.6.1 to 22.7.1 (which claims to have some nice OpenGL optimizations) I do not get a picture after loading/starting a game.



The main menu works normal and after creating/loading a game everything also looks normal. I can see the "These are the end times" and so on.

Then the "click to start" appears and after clicking I can hear the game running, but I still only see the black screen with "This is how you died" and "click to start" messages.



I can hear the character moving around and attacking. Esc seems to open the menu and pause the game.

I tried 41.73 and the current stable version. I also created a clean "Zomboid" folder without any changes.



Fullscreen or Boderless Window does not make any difference.



I also reinstalled the driver with the "Factory reset" option enabled without any success.

GPU is a Radeon 6800.

Depois de atualizar meu driver de 22.6.1 para 22.7.1 (que afirma ter algumas boas otimizações OpenGL), não consigo uma imagem após carregar/iniciar um jogo.



O menu principal funciona normalmente e depois de criar/carregar um jogo tudo também parece normal. Eu posso ver o "Estes são os tempos do fim" e assim por diante.

Em seguida, aparece o "clique para iniciar" e depois de clicar posso ouvir o jogo rodando, mas ainda vejo apenas a tela preta com as mensagens "Foi assim que você morreu" e "clique para iniciar".



Eu posso ouvir o personagem se movendo e atacando. Esc parece abrir o menu e pausar o jogo.

Eu tentei 41.73 e a versão estável atual. Eu também criei uma pasta "Zomboid" limpa sem nenhuma alteração.



Tela cheia ou janela sem bordas não faz diferença.



Também reinstalei o driver com a opção "Factory reset" habilitada sem sucesso.

just start the world with a smaller screen and then maximize the screen and the game started normally

Like windowed mode then make your window smaller and start the world

yes you open that option that goes a second command prompt game and lets the game minimize and create your character and to start the world it stays on that infinite black screen you maximize the game at once then it starts normal.

YES, THANK YOU! I spent the whole day to figure out why my game stopped working just like that.

For those that do not get the workaround to work, just downgrade your drivers.

The OpenGL optimization they released was so good that they reduced GPU usage by 99%, which is the time you will be proportionally not playing due to AMD screwing up a driver release, again.
