Die from drinking alcohol?
My character was at the bar and drank beer until they became tipsy, shortly after they started to get sick and had their hp slowly start dwindling down until they die, they did not become a zombie and it just baffles me because other people don't really have this problem? IDK if it helps but my character was a female so what's the deal???

If u took sleeping pills before or after drinking your character dies.

My character had wounds but I doubt that had anything to do with that, so ??????

You may doubt the wounds had anything to do with it, but that makes a lot more sense than alcohol on its own. It's pretty frequent for players to say "I did X then died, why did X kill me?!", when there are loads of fatal things in the game (infection, food poisoning, corpse sickness and so on) that kill with a time delay.

Were the wounds not bandaged or infected? Few different ways that could kill you right there. First is bites are 100% fatal unless you turn off zombie infection in the sandbox settings. Next is bleeding to death if the wound isn't bandaged. And third is regular infection which you may not have been able to respond to due to being drunk and too sleepy.

Idk if its a mechanic in game, but booze is a blood thinner. Makes your wounds heal slower because they don't clot properly and if you cut yourself badly while you are drunk as a skunk it can be extra bad.

My character was not bitten referring to what I said in the post, their wounds was also not from a zombie. And their wounds were bandaged but i'm not sure about infected.

I've done that in real life and I'm still here. Sounds like something needs adjusted.
https://www.therecoveryvillage.com/alcohol-abuse/sleeping-pills/ Taking sleeping pills with booze will kill you sometimes, its not good.

Sounds like it was probably a regular wound infection then. I've lost a few characters that way. Pro tip, you can make sterilized bandages from hot water to help avoid the wounds getting infected in the future. Good luck out there.

I had this same issue yesterday actually. Drank 4 beers in a short span to fix my unhappiness. A few hours later starting feeling queasy, sick, fever, then death. I had no wounds at the time and was playing with no zombie infection. So I know it wasn't from the zed virus (Playing with sprinters, had already been bitten a few times on this character weeks before, healed fine). This also happened to me twice before after taking 4 ~ 5 vitamins in a short span to cure sleepiness. I think there's a poisoning mechanic when taking any single sort of "drug" in a tight window of time.

Bitten and not becoming a zombie is a bug itself

Not necessarily. The person you quoted said they had the zombie infection turned off. So a bite wouldn't kill you.

Could have been the bite, but as I said, that happened in-game weeks ago, and the wound was well taken care of and healed quite quickly due to my high first aid skill. No corpses were around me either, and the health impact was set to low in my world anyway. Only unusual thing I did was pound 4 beers, one after the other.
