more is make that items in bags do not add to it untill it reaches past the limit then the weghit reduction takes place
But yeah, its easy to change the bags limits. But I think the percentage weight reduction is limited to 95%, not 100%.
one base i have in near a food store and paramedic but two warhouse are a bit away its a pain with looting i cant get my from them since i run in to a lot of zommbie so i need my axe
Like mentioned before, you can mod the game, you can take strong traits and you can even take the organized trait like I mentioned before (even though that won't help you with strength and will only help you with fitting more into your bags).
Like people have said, it's not based entirely on weight but it does rely on your strength level, so be sure if you want to carry a lot you have better strength stats. Having things in your bag reduces their weight/size but you still have to have your character carry that weight (with their strength).
And if you don't want to start a new character, carry around a heavy load most of the time and you'll start getting stronger in no time :)
I cant remember anybody else in the last years was so upset about this system like you........
I would like a way to modify all the weight files in the game, including modifying the max weight you can carry based on the strength stat. Frankly, the current values need to be at a min, increased by 1.5x - 2x where they are now, and all items need to be re-balanced.
It really should be a fully modifiable stat we should have full control over. This doesn't effect anyone else gameplay in single player and it would be a great resource for server admins as well.
For example, I see you can start as a "fireman" or someone with str training, etc, yet their carry weight is so very very low even AFTER you put pts into str traits.
Carrying a duffle bag or any kind of cloth bag / pack of any kind can be modified easily to wear on the back, and gives player control over center of gravity, and thus being able to carry a lot more weight with good movement.
Please give us the ability to 100% completely modify the strength values and how much base weight players can carry.
As stated, I would like to see these stats modifiable, you know, as in "being able to mod" stats and more control over them. I do not see how this request effects anyone else gameplay for a SP game.
Having the ability to modify these values would help us, the community, fix some of the errors in the weight / encumbrance system that I do not like or agree with. Everything seems to be pointing towards more "realism" on so many levels, yet this is a game.
It's not a common trope in other survival games, no where even close. Reference 7 days to die, Empyrion, DayZ, Miscreated, etc. They are survival games, but do things very differently in terms of weight / encumbrance.
I am not asking that this game is made like those. All I am asking to have the ability to mod the values for Str and all weight / encumburance values for PZ. What I can carry in PZ with a higher Str trait chosen is laughable, even WITH a pack on my char back.
A real live person could easily exceed far beyond what this game offers, and not be anywhere close to "encumbered" as what this game punishes you for. Many things simply do not make sense, so asking to have the ability to mod these values is something I do not believe is unreasonable.
