Welcome to PZ
More weight more damage
But NPCs rarely have 30kg or so of stuff in their backpacks...I suspect that you did.
Yeah, I hopped out a window on the third floor of Twiggy's stupidly expecting the sheet rope I had there the night before to, y'know, still be there (had a sheet over the window, lol). It wasn't. Didn't break my leg cause I only had 6 kilos on me. I was rather uncomfortable for a bit though. Luckily I was at full health with no negative moodles. Getting back IN was a bit of a chore.
Tell us after what happened...
You can survive a fall from three floors up from the ground, but you'll need to be full health and you'll be very screwed afterwards, usually with a broken leg. It's not advisable though because it seems somewhat random and I've died making the coin toss before. And many times while working on scaffolding fixing up my base, lol.
So I have to assume you were low health and overburdened when you jumped out of the window and died from the cumulative damage from past injuries. Watch out for that!
Now shall rise a Knight.
All hails to them!
Huzzay! Huzzay!
*drumrolls*
*eyerolls*
*somebody screams in the backroom*
And so it begins.
I've never known myself to take any damage from falling a single floor, damn.
