Saw nurses video on the fence + crate but crawlers can destroy it, are there any that cant be destroyed?

Just try to avoid agitating Zeds around your base, they'll only want to tear down a wall if they are agitated.

But you cannot move them. If you move them they can be destroyed

You can use stairs, but that's a lot of stairs, lol. Basically the only 100% way is to make your barricades indestructible. I suppose you can also do the car/wall trick and disable the zeds ability to crawl under the cars in the options as well. Takes a lot of work though.

Best way to protect yourself is to live on the upper floors of a building with the stairs destroyed.

Maybe cars, if you completely disable zombies being able to crawl under them I guess. Although I suppose crawlers will be able to do it automatically.

It's not needed. If you clear the surroundings of your safehouse and avoid bringing zeds to it deliberately. Zeds will dever destroy anything unless they're trying to reach something specific (i.e. you or a generator), even if it might seem they hit the fences/walls in the same way.

How do you get back up to your base if you destroy the stairs? (Only way I see this is if you go up, destroy, then build to come back down?)

Go up, hang sheetrope out window. Go down, destroy stairs. Climb back up, hang sheetrope where stairs used to be.

I feel like I had a composter that was destroyed recently. I didn't move it. Anyone want to verify if it still works?

Yeah, have more than one entrance/exit you can climb up and down from. You can even layer them if your building has enough levels and you can build bridges out to somewhere safer to climb down.
