You can make CLOTHES for the FISH you catch!
wasted points imo.
i mean you literally walk faster than all zombies.
You outpace them a lot faster than normally. Lets you slip out of situations where you would be getting surrounded a lot easier.
yeah i get that but still not worth imo, you still cant get surrounded with walking and
you also cant get desensitized in late game. so you have permanent negative panic for some faster movement that doest really make a difference.
i get the playstyle. but yelling : ITS OVER , seems like it was the best thing ingame ever :D
its not.
but like others said , if you enjoy that playstyle for different reasons, there surely will be a mod for it.
Um no, that's not how the panic perks work. The longer you spend outside/inside, eventually you will stop panicking as much and get more used to it, so the 'permanent' negative panic is not, in fact, permanent for agoraphobia/claustrophobia at least. Not sure about cowardly, but I believe your character will eventually get a bit braver the longer you get exposed to things that panic you.
And Adrenaline junky absolutely makes a speed difference. I get the feeling you've never used it much.
and even if you get brave in lategame, whats the point of it all, when you cant get panicked to activate that talent? seems like a double waste.
and you are right i had it only like 2 times, and its not worth the points imo.
EDIT: but now you made me curious and ill give it another shot in a next run to see if its really worth the points.
It's still an bad trait in my opinion and even so this "nerf" makes it more worse.
Basically what happens is over the time you play the game your character will RECOVER from panic faster, eventually getting to the point of recovering faster than the panic the phobia traits generate.
Cowardly just increases rate of panic gained.
Adrenaline Junkie just applies a flat speed boost... When you're at Strong/Extreme panic moodle.
Don't get me wrong, it way decent to pair with the phobia traits but now that the two can't be combined it's lost A LOT of value and even then there are better traits.
It's a must for Sprinters
