For me, it is perfect, not too long, not too short
1 hour feels too short to me, disiked it
3+ hours feels too long, (3 is sttill okish) but i didnt liked 4 hours
A 90 minutes day is missing in my opinion, im sure i would like this one
Longuer day than default makes the game easier too
Use the other settings to compensate if needed...more zombies, rarer loot, faster ramp up to peak day...
As for winter, you can always start the game at a later date, like september
I just deleted the game I had set for 4 hours, I definitely agree that it seemed too long, I was thinking of trying 2 or 3 hours.
At 1 hour, it takes 30 hours for one month to go by.
2 hours a day is 60, 3 hours is 90, you get the picture. (assuming MP)
Single player, the month might be 15 to 20 hours because of sleep.
Even though 1 hour days seems short, the yearly progression is nicer.
