Can someone explain me the Respawn Multiplier?

Hi, can you explain me how the Respawn Multiplier works?
It’s set per default to 0.1
If my peak population is 1.5 which is let’s say 300 zombies does that mean that 0.1 from the 300 Zombies will respawn every 72 seen and 16 unseen hours?

at 0.1, 10% of the max population will spawn every time a respawn is available.

if you want to know the percentage of any value just multiply it by 100 and add the %
1.5 = 150%
0.1= 10%
1=100%
