Every server I went into has my ping shot up to 200 and I don't know why.
Before you say it, my wifi is doing fine, I can play TF2 or Left 4 Dead without issue. I play on a SEA server where I get good ping, once until for some reason the server I go into shot up to 200 - 350, causing the game not to download the chunks at all and say the message of "Map failed to download" or something along those lines.

In another server I can get into but the father I go, the greater chance I run into the black void, and it has gotten so annoying I've stopped frequenting said servers. I genuinely don't know what to do as I've used every single piece of advice that was used to no avail and I can't even enjoy PZ anymore.

Then why is it there are servers where there they only range 80 to 90 for me but the server i frequent isn't.

1: Believe or not, it depends on your distance from server.
2: Even best wifi can't provide godd connection. It's just not stable enough.
Solutions (backwards)
2: Try wire connection.
1: Look for servers closer to your location.

VPN's do and can help lower ping in server's further away from your location.

there is one called ExitLag made specially to reduce ping

It lowered the ping but I still get the message where the map download failed

It's almost certainly unrelated, but at the same time as you I had mystery increase in ping. Happens from time to time since I have crappy internet, but when I saw you posting about it made me wonder if it wasn't something else for a change.

Ive never used a VPN and never really had the need to, but I’ve seen some really strange stuff happen whenever my one buddy joins any sort of MP game (aside from PZ as well) with his VPN running.

I’d just turn off the VPN and see how that fairs. Other than that, I’d try to wire the internet connection and aside from that, the only thing you could do is pay for faster internet.

Same results if I had turned off and on, and no luck finding a good ISP provider.
