Honestly I wouldn't worry about it, infection can't kill you (not anymore, anyway), it only slows down healing.
Sterilized bandages help keep infections away, you can make them extremely easily, get some water boiling and you're good to go, if that's somehow not available, disinfectant also works.

Jokes aside, as long as you don't keep a dirty bandage on for too long, it shouldn't get infected again after you disinfect it.
so just do it once and eventually it will go away?
