Best outdoor source of light?
I was wondering what would be the best method (if any) to light up the surroundings of my base at night, an alternative to simple campfires.
Thanks!

Flood lights work well. But so does regular outdoor lights if you have a wall to put them on

The outdoor lights were working just fine, I even looted some to add more to my base, but after I moved the generator from base level to the third floor, they stopped working.
I tried connecting another generator at base level for testing purposes but they refuse to turn on lol, I do not think these are tied to any switch from the inside right?

They shouldn't be. Check the bulbs. They can burn out. That's probably not what happened but it's easy to check with a right click. Outside of that try uninstalling and reinstalling the lights. They may not recognize that they are connected to the new generator. If you tested it by putting the genny on the first floor and they didn't work those are the only two things I can think of.

campfires outdoors is a terrible idea.
A zombie walks over it - soon your entire base is on fire.

One option is to make a catwalk and put flood lights on the corners.

I do know if a light switch cant be reached. Anthing els that far away or farther wont work either. U can have a room with three light switches and only one works. So just make sure stuffs in range
