Can't wake up
Went to sleep, and my character just will not wake up. I've been asleep for almost a full day, starting to get hungry, and I'm safely tucked away in my base so there's no chance of being woken up by a zombie or something. Loading back in spawns me still asleep.

That's an odd bug. Are you on the experimental build?
You may need to use debug mode to fix the problem, although I'm not sure what to try first. Maybe the teleport option, maybe adjust the numbers.

Not on experimental. Any guide to using the debug mode? Never tried it before, not sure how intuitive it is.

so right click the game in the steam library and properties then in the launch options box add "-debug" without the quotes. Load up your game and there's a sort of insect/bug icon on the left. Click that and you see some debug options. One of them will show a list of sliders and numbers to adjust player statistics. Another option lets you teleport, edit your skills and health. There's a lot you can do but I imagine this sleep bug isn't common. You'd have to experiment with this. I can't even guarantee there's an option that can help you, you can only try.
Try to teleport to a position. Try to look for a player stat number related to fatigue. If I had to guess, it would be that the bar for fatigue has been decreased during the sleep, but has somehow gone below zero, but that's just a shot in the dark. What I'm thinking is that maybe you can set your fatigue back to positive numbers so then it can then count down properly. If that's not the case maybe there's some other numbers. It requires some logic and I can't really suggest much without loading up the game and looking through all the various options myself, but even then I wouldn't have the sleep bug to test any solutions. Let me know how you get on.

Thank god for this man. Yeah, console was throwing out mad errors about ignoring some kind of instance. My fatigue was at 0, but increasing it seemed to set it back to normal, and when it drained I woke up.

Phew that's lucky. Devs should take note of this issue where fatigue during sleep is reaching zero but doesn't end the sleep.

I think OP missed an opportunity to hibernate throughout the entire apocalypse. Waking up 1000 years later after leaving the game running at max speed for a couple of weeks, the hero awoke from his slumber to find the zombies have all decomposed. This is how you lied in bed.
