Browser game from the early 00s similar to P.Z.

Hi!
I remember playning this game in the early 00s that was very similar to pz. You played as a survivor in a zombie apocalypse, but unlike pz there where a lot of other survivors, mostly divided between two warring factions: the rebels and the s.w.a.t.. Like pz it had a very dark and somber (and violent) atmosphere about it.
Does anybody remember the game I'm talking about?

Nope... I played that too, but that's much more recent and it's not really about zombies...
No it was a free to play fighting game focused on zombies, from the early 00s or even the late 90s...

Was it part of The Last Stand series? I remember playing those on Armor Games back during the Flash days, but it looks like there's a Steam version too.

No... it was much more similar to pz: you controlled a single character and moved around an open world map...
