When you see a zombie he fades in. With short sighted he only fades in reliably at close range. At further range if it was a fleeting glance you may miss the zombie completely. Such as you did a quick twirl to see all around you. You’re only safe for about the size of the screen. If you mouse further the vision fade is not reliable unless you look for longer.
Eagle eye alternatively increases zombie fade in speed at all range
It’s particularly bad at night on short sighted but it’s totally playable it’s not a hinderance at all if you are a careful player
