Get Rid of "This Is How You Died"
I find the opening series of statements at the start of the game extremely annoying and demoralizing. I hate having to stare at the equivalent of "ur gonna die LOL" every time I load up this game. Does anyone know of a mod that removes this tumor from my life?

Or, if it hasn't been made yet, could anyone make one?

I would unironically pay $100 for something like that.

It is not compatible with the "Mod Manager" mod as the Mod Manager mod breaks translation changes and the creator has yet to reply to my bug report on his mod.

Why does it bother you so much? Just curiosity.

I recently started playing this game and it amuses me that they assume that I'm going to die xD.

The game is about how you died.
What devs should put there? "This is how you survived?" Would be a false statement.

some cultures and religions may have a problem with it, It is pretty reasonable of a complaint. also pretty easy to change/fix in the game files.

Wait, what? What does a culture or religion have to do with a game that says you are going to die in the game?

just because it is a game means nothing. some cultures just view death differently and it could be a problem when they see "This is how you died" instead of something more optimistic or whatever.

Alright, enough to satisfy my curiosity. Thanks for the reply!

This is how you prospered and hoarded all the town's items into one building and didn't die and cleared the town of zombies and restored civilisation and went on to live to a good old age of 89.

"This is your story" would cover it.

I really see no problem with it. You are mortal in this game too. But if the wording really gets you, I'm sure there's a mod for it.

it's not Mod Manager that's the problem - did you try running just your mod and Mod Manager? coz i had no problem - it must be some other mod that you were running that overrides the translations

I know for a fact it is mod manager that is the problem. Both I and my friend have tested that very mod, which is just a simple translation edit and Mod Manager. with no other mods installed but those 2. and Mod Manager has caused my mod to not work. I also made a secondary mod that only changes the main menu text for easier testing. and that too also broke when enabling Mod Manager.
