Base location in Rosewood

Im starting in rose wood where should i base up does not even have to be in rose wood just not sure of good base places and also how would I make the base location secure?

Best location to bunker up in rosewood:
- Firestation
- Rosewood Prison
- Construction Site
- Gated Houses

It's a pretty relatively easy-starter area, and there maybe few zombies (depending on your settings). And this place isn't good to bunker in any if your playing multiplayer PVP/PVE.

Im playing solo so im fine with that I think ill build at the fire station does it have roof acess bc I think ill build a farm up there if it does

Theres a lake west of Rosewood outside of town. right by gas station n bus station. build your own home

Even without roof access for a safer farm, the fire-hall is pretty good because of the strong fences surrounding it. Just finish off the fences to the south (the side with the building) so zombies don't wander in and trample your crops, and you'll be OK. Or clear out nearby zombies every once in a while so they don't wander too close.

The gas-station is my end-goal for most towns including Rosewood, since you get to run generators without needing to travel far for gas. You just need to build everything onto a roof or second floor, and knock out the stairs, and you're pretty safe. (Same as any building, really. :)

Thats smart I already found a generator and honestly I dont mind having to go to the gas station to get fuel so I think Ill just Destroy the wall that leads to the roof on the fire department and build one up there also if you step on crops can you ruin them?

i always go for the firestation.
enough trees around to build a wall. you can have a roof farm. but you need a sledgehammer first. break the wall close to the stairs to get to the roof.
its alot of work tho. and when i get bored i walk over to the prison and have some fun

The houses in the gated community near the bar make decent locations as well. The big fences give each house just one area that zombies funnel through. Good luck if you choose to make the prison home. Usually about 700 current occupants who need to be cleared out first.

For the wall do i legit build a wodden wall across the empty space? also can zombies break them

no i just block the double doors and the windows with wooden walls.
sure they can break it but i never had that happen.

I'm not sure about that, but you'll want to space out your crops in rows or individual squares, to limit the spread of disease from plant to plant.

Make a sheet-rope from clothes, like in the old prison-escape movies. Hammer + nails will let you attache it to the window of the upper floor. (Do it before you destroy the stairs. ;)
