Hard to pin point on any particular houses that have lots of bookshelves, usually most have at least one, some have two. The rich houses to the West of Rosewood are generally easy to loot and have 2 bookshelves each I think, except the empty one? And the house just next to the church has like four bookshelves in it I think, if memory serves. If you're just book hunting, doing a quick and fast raid of multiple houses in a row won't be too difficult, right?
Otherwise just hit up schools and book stores, and then move on to the next town to the next school or bookstore, if you want to be quick.
Oh, and a book loot place that people tend to forget: post office. They pretty much didn't send anything other than books back in 1993, apparently. Those places are FULL to the brim with books, and I think there's one in Rosewood too. Most people ignore them because there's not much practical loot to be found, but they're basically another book store or library. If you see any postal service vans in your travels, don't hesitate to check them out too if you need books as well. Scratch that, I was thinking of Riverside, Rosewood doesn't have a post office...I think. Drat.
