How do I stop sprinting?

I finally bought the game, was literally dreaming with it, but as soons as I start playing, my char keeps running everywhere, the only way I can stop that is holding right mouse button or ctrl, is this how the game works?

Check your controls on the settings.

Check your keyboard if same thing happens on the other games that uses the same key as sprint over other games.

maybe your key just stuck/bugged and kept on pressing maybe.

I checked and no, its no stuck, happens only in this game, i want my char to just walk normally without sprinting. i tried all the options and cant find anything about this issue.

there is an autorun key so even if you stop moving, you will immediately start running again if you move again

its a toggle key, so you have to press it again. check your control settings for the key.
