No trees in the middle of the road in EROSION pls
i know that the pics are a WIP but its just painfull to see grown trees in the middle of the road grass or moss its ok " if you take in account years going by whit wind blowing dirt in the middle of the street and the natural growth of plants on the sides of the road "

but for trees to grow up in the concreate its dumb " ofc it can and will happen the floor cracks etc etc but the it will take a lot of time for trees to grow like that"

ps : add the split screen and controll pad suport back in game for the love of god :p

I hope that you're correct, in that trees take a longer time that grass and shrubs to grow through concrete, but again, it is purely cosmetic if you do not include seasons.

Also, I think you can revert to an older build to enable split screen, although I'm not sure if that's possible or still available.

I have to say that for me it was one of the greatest news for the game lately. I even prefer it over the NPCs. I mean the city looks way to pretty and clean for a zombie apocalypse right now and the renaturation of the landscape looks amazing. I agree that it should progress quite slowly on the roads and large parking areas, but still it will give a lot for a much better atmosphere in the game.

Yup, we'll not have trees sprouting magically from the road. Mash is making new assets for the trees and bushes for the different seasons and level of growth, and will also be doing cracks for the road etc.

It's my least favourite thing about the mod, where the grass overlay etc is placed on top of tarmac. That particular asset was designed to only ever appear on top of grassy floor tiles, so we'll have new assets for when grass grows through tarmac etc.

I loved the pics of erosion its a fantastic advance for the game and im all for it



i was just pointing out that the chances of trees growing in such a short time in the road are very improbable



" unless the pavement was destroyed in some way like survivors using explosives tanks going around at full speed etc :p " ofc weather and the passing of time create cracks in the concrete seeds get blow in there start growing the roots crack the floor around it and live grows but it takes time



some trees grow faster that others but not that fast

i agree tree can grow fast " well fast .. its a tree after all " i checked this site
http://www.fast-growing-trees.com/FastestTrees.htm and if the hole in the ground is big and the log has space to grow its possible but there will be moss and vegestation a lot sooner that trees any way in my last post i dident read the developer post cuze i was typing and stuff :p so is nice to see that you guys are going to fix that so tks C.Binky and grey

ps to the ps i can see you guys around a table deciding what to improve next and some one says lets solve the split screen stuff and gamepad and some else says " prob gray " no way man theres a guy in the steam forum always asking for it is a pain in the ass 3 out of 4 post complaining about it let him whait bhaa :p
