Is there an easy way to find friends on multiplayer?

Seems like the Day Z effect where half the time spent playing is looking for your friends, but day z at least has a static map(too bad Day Z is trash)

Just looking for tips really. Me and my friends rarely end up playing because we want a group survival experience but half the time I can't find anyone.

more than likely, i have already killed your friends and destroyed their fort. no need to find them =)

use the map on that link, find the relative area you are in, have your friends do the same, and then coordinateto find each other

Basicly you're gonna have to use old fashion navigation and terrain recognition. Use the online map, and get your bearings. Have your friends do the same.

Figure out where each other are, and formulate a meet-up location. Unfortunately there is no in-game friend finder.
