Is there a way to automatically add god mode as soon as joining a self hosted server?
Friends and I decided to do a "light and easy" playthrough to familiarize ourselves with the game and its aspects. It was great fun, until I decided to ♥♥♥♥ up (and this is how you died).
Naturally, I'd rather not lose the map we have explored, since I marked every looted house with a tick mark, and many other reasons.
All the files are on my drive. I have access to every database, including the players.db and its BLOB columns (and I'm a software dev so I can work with it). I edited the save state so that my character is one tick away from dying from blood loss.
So:
a) is there a player BLOB data editor anywhere so I can remove my wounds that cause my character to die in one tick upon entering the server?
b) is there a way to automatically add all characters to god mode when they join the server? Is there a mod perhaps? Debug flags only allow for invisibility, not invulnerability.
c) Can anyone help me write a mod that gives every online character god mode every tick?
d) where can I find a console/terminal version of a dedicated server and instructions on how to move my existing data there, so I can spam (via a script) the "put character X into god mode" command?
e) can anyone else think of another solution?

Not on a self hosted server, any powers are taken away at logoff and will not be given at login.
If you want to mess with the game files you can edit the players.db file with a database editor (SQLite Studio) for example.

Lastly though, the map doesnt disappear when you die, you can always load back in with a new character. If you want to make sure to backup the map you can save the "map_visited" file in the save folder.

The information I seek is stored in a BLOB in the players.db, so I cannot edit the file in this way unfortunately.
I have decided that I'll abandon the idea and I'll raise the previous character's stats via admin panel. Since both the map and the markers on it stay, it should not be too big a concern.
