where do i find seeds?

I read online and watch videos and everything says check kitchens, sheds, and warehouses, but after searching all the large warehouses near the farms in the center of the map, dozens of sheds, kitchens, and garages, the closest thing ive found are sacks of veggies. I even went to the farm store, thinking they HAVE to have some seeds on their shelves. Nope.

Am I just that unlucky, or is there something i'm missing?

Just a little unlucky.

Look in sheds, garages, and sometimes, the cupboards of kitchens and counters. I'm honestly surprised you've yet to find any.

They were kind of rare, but now they increased the number of places they can show up. Sheds and garages can have the farming shelves show up, as well as grocery and general stores. Car trunks and truck beds can also randomly have farm themed loot. You can also find them scavenging farm areas. I have also noticed farmer zombies seem to commonly be carrying them after the last update, which makes them pretty common loot now.

Hardware stores and warehouses are the usual places I get them.

Warehouses and farming stores which there aren't many of those. Kitchens would be extremely unreliable. You can easily loot multiple neighborhoods and get none that way.

The country side with all the farms might help too.

Agreed. The best luck I've had is in farming stores and warehouses. Try March Ridge couple of good locations in and around there.

March Ridge is basically a Deathtrap

Only reason to visit is for the VHS Store and Community Center (Exercise Equipment)

Or you can treat the whole suburb like a Challenge Area like the Prison or Hospital

Don't think I've ever seen seeds in kitchens. But what about foraging? Look for crops and generally when you find a carrot or the like it'll come with some seeds.

They are very rare in kitchens you could loot entire towns and not find any. That's how reliable they are. In older updates I feel they were more common in the past they have certainly played around with loot rates. So that might explain why you haven't found any in kitchens

Yes but you'd need higher levels of foraging to find wild plants. In the beginning for food you'll mostly find Berries instead of things like Cabbage

Only found them on farmer zombies so far , they are wearing jeans overrals .

Aren't seeds on zombies a mod thing? Maybe it's related to settings... But yeah if you want to reliably get seeds from foraging a high skill level is important. Of course it's one of the most rewarding and easy skills to improve, because by doing so you still get all sorts of useful stuff.

You kill any zombie wearing overalls, you have small chance of finding seeds. If you have seeds already, plants 'em, grow the crops to seed bearing stage, which is after the usual harvest point, boom, seeds.
