how tf do i use WD40 and gun cleaning kit

i have 4 wd40 cand and 2 gun cleaning kits but when i click on my gun to clean it their is no option that says clean gun? i just want the conditon to go back to full. i am using britas weapon mod pack..

They are used to repair the gun. Look under the repair menu.

You want to Repair your gun. There is no option to clean it...

You need to have a shooting skill over a certain level to clean some guns.

You want to Repair your gun. There is no option to clean it...

Probably a dumb question on my part but the gun's condition IS less than full right? Anyway based on my admittedly limited experience with such matters it's entirely possible the mod is just gimped. Been known to happen.

You can only use modded items to repair guns from the same mod...
Or if different mods (and vanilla!) is patched together.

It doesn't work for me either. I've tried everything, nothing works to repair the M16
The only option is to take 2 identical weapons to repair 1.

You open the crafting menu and use them in the firearms tab...
Brushes, cleaning kits and wd40 work on britas guns...if you have vanilla guns you need another vanilla gun to repair it (repairing guns in vanilla is NEVER worth it just throw them away and use another lol this is america not europe)

i have britas and arsenal mod. Most likely, britas repair kits cannot be used on weapons from the arsenal mod.

Of course they can. Arsenal is literally a dependency for Brita's. Plus the repair kits are in Arsenal anyway, not Brita's.

I checked the crafting and there is nothing related to the repair when I hold the weapon + repair kit + wd40

mod craft menu. doesn't even show me the option to see all recipes related to repair kit or wd40

no idea what this is about so i assumed mods, but not gonna lie, the thought of using WD40 to clean a weapon sends shivers down my spine and somewhere in the distance i can hear my sergeant ripping his genitals and throwing them in the tall grass, never to be seen again.
