Use a sledgehammer. With it in possession, right click and select destroy.

For roofs it's a bit trick, since sloped roof don't have collision and you can fall through them. Build a stair first and preferably, build some wood tiles beneath the roof to avoid falling.
Note that some very vertical sloped roofs requires some extra steps I've never tried.

Also, destroying a house have a bug where the internal cell will still be there, so you'll see shadows in there as if the house was still standing, even when there's nothing in there.

Houses can be deadly. It's totally their fault.

Amityville House of Horrors.... I broke a few walls down that had windows, light switches and shelves on them; the window, switch and shelves are just hovering there now, kind of creepy, the switch still lights up too lol.
Not sure if you can place a gerry can in the house and fire on it with a bullet to burn it down, maybe that works too?

In vanilla it can be tricky and material (along with time) consuming, stairs, sledgehammers and floors would be your best bet
