Are there any armor for legs,arms, and neck?

Just seeing if there are any armor like that in the game whether craft able or can be found, since I am trying to make a custom character with as much protection as possible, since I plan to start a RP with friends where we are military sent to find a research lab in hopes to finding a cure. So it would make sense if they are some sort of armor.

Vanilla wise I think the best stuff is Overalls for the legs + stomach, Leather Jacket for the arms (and upper legs if a long one) and a Turtleneck Sweater + Scarf for the neck - I think the Motorcycle Helmet used to give the neck protection but it doesn't anymore.

With Leather Strips for padding to make it into "armour" etc. No actual "armour" exists at the moment beyond bullet proof vests, at least in vanilla. Just augmented clothing and lots of layers.

It may be helpful to pick out a mod if you want to RP as the military, things like the SWAT pack, Sharks Enforcement Overhaul, BRITAs collection etc, stuff like that contains some good military goodies, although the balance is kinda questionable.

high tailoring skill gives the patches you can put on clothing more protection, and you can wear multiple layers of clothing that have patches on them, giving you a lot of protection.

for the neck though certain leather jackets have neck protection, and some helmets will probably have neck protection, though i'm not sure.

Long Johns, Coveralls, and Prison Jumpsuit have patch spots for everything except neck, head, feet, and hands

You can wear Long Johns with other stuff. Not sure about Coveralls and Prison Jumpsuit, but it should be the same since they're all "Suits."

The downside to the others compared to Long Johns is that they have a Run Speed debuff of 10%. The upside is that they have 10% scratch defense while Long Johns doesn't.

You mean chastity belts?

A chastity belt is specific term with a purpose. Armor on your groin would be built different.

Focus should be given, in order, to the neck (ambush), hands/arms (because slow down attack speed a lot), groin (have a +chance to be a target).
And keep the heat low. Usually by getting wet before fighting some horde.

Brown leather jacket, leather gloves, leather trousers, long john, long sleeves tshirt, apron, denim shirt, short sleeve shirt, blue scarf, long socks.
Add boot (military desert boot) and eventually some headgear (but honestly, its dam rare to be hurt on the head, only worth if it's a low insulation one, and if you don't care about foraging -1).
That give you 25%hands, 77% forarm, 87% upperarm, 97% upper torso (could add tanktop for 100% for torso but it doesn't really get hit), 40% neck, 70% groin, 80% thigh, 50% shin (sadly, quite low).
